Sunday fun day

So our weekend around the island continued on Sunday with a Skype to the parents at 8 and a pick up from Silas at 9am

We stopped at Au Bon Marche for sandwiches and supplies and we were on our way to the Blue Lagoon.

Despite most of the booths having been destroyed by Pam we paid our £3.50 and walked down to the water. We were warned that as its sheltered by canopy  and fed by the sea the water was quite cold so we decided it'd be best to rope swing in first off. Amy went first and did the most amusing knee entry accompanied by a brilliant scream

Amy entering the water quicker than I expected!

It was so much fun. The water was cold but the floor was sandy. At one point we had the whole thing to ourselves and the boys tried various different exciting jumps to be shown up by Carl; a ni-Van whose grandad owned the land, he could back flip and somersault from so high in the air.

At blue lagoon

We had lunch on a picnic bench. Surrounded by stray docks but soaking up the sun!

Next we made our way to Eton beach. A famous place to visit in Efate. It was very choppy and very windy. But a nice place to read your book and listen to the sea

If a little chilly

We made it back to eat our new favourite dinner 'tuna omelette' and to plan our final two weeks! We're starting in surgery tomorrow morning for the week. Better get to sleep soon!
